I think we all emerged from 2017 feeling a little soul-bruised, yeah? Just me? Definitely not just me.
Last year was a year of taking one step forward, two steps back, for me. Some really wonderful things happened – teaching Pogatry workshops with my dear friend Kirsten, launching an anthology at the small press I run, and the ongoing amazements of parenting a couple of awesome kids are at the top of the list.
But holy moly, there was so much I wanted to do that just didn’t happen. Guess what? This is the year. I’ve got several new projects I’m beyond excited about launching. I love the saying, “No mud, no lotus” (in fact, I wear it on my wrist at all times) and you’d better believe 2017 was the mud. Time to bloom.
Right now, I’m in the foundational stages, making plans, drawing mind maps, creating a vision board, identifying concrete goals. But soon…. soon, my lovelies, the fun begins.
I can’t wait. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for coming along for the ride. I hope 2018 is the year you too make some of your wildest dreams come true. Namaste.
